Greetings brothers and friends,
In my previous post, I told you that obedience brings blessing, and in the Bible we see many examples of obedient people and their rewards.
Before obedience comes instruction and that is where we must pay attention, since many people do not take very seriously the instructions that God gives us.
John 9: 1
As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth.
Jesus saw the blind man as He sees us and how He chose us, because it is He who always takes the initiative! Once he chooses us, God does as He wants in our lives, He does not have a specific pattern, in the case of this blind man, Jesus spat on the ground, and made mud with saliva, and smeared that mud, the eyes of the blind man. Then Jesus turned instructions to the blind man to complete the miracle
…on the blind man’s obedience, it was now up to him to receive the miracle.
John 9: 7-11
7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”
9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
10 “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.
11 He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”
Jesus ordered the blind man to wash in the pool and the blind man obeyed his order and was healed. This episode for us should be an example of how we can enter the supernatural just by obeying! God gives us an order and while we obey the miracle happens. Therefore, only if we follow Jesus’ instructions exactly, our miracle is guaranteed, so we should not take his instructions lightly!
Every instruction we receive from the Lord, through the written or pronounced Word, is a call to obedience, for this reason, if we want a miracle to occur in our lives, we must align ourselves and agree with the Word, since it is supernatural and changes natural circumstances, in this way we could live in miracles every day.
A miracle is not only to obtain a healing, as happened to the blind man, but also the provision, or some material miracle, there are many miracles that God can do in our lives, just by obeying each one of the instructions He gives us.
